Bio

I received my Marriage and Family Therapy license from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences in 1997. I am a Level 4 Certified Therapist and Trainer in TEAM-CBT. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Experience

From 2006-2008, I served as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at John F Kennedy University. During that time, I supervised graduate students in the Counseling Psychology program and Marriage and Family Therapy interns. I also conducted clinical training for students and interns at the JFK Community Counseling Center in Sunnyvale, California.

From 2006-2007, I served as Director of the El Camino YMCA Growth and Counseling Center in Mountain View, California where I provided Individual, Couple, Group and Family therapy in addition to Parent Education classes.

From 2006-2013, I served as Clinical Counselor at the Harker School in San Jose, California.

From 2008- Present, I have provided on site Critical Incident Stress Debriefing services to companies in the San Francisco Bay Area on behalf of Crisis Care Network and R3 Continuum.

From 2007-Present, I have been providing Individual Psychotherapy and Mindfulness Meditation to Religious of the Sacred Heart at the Oakwood Retirement Center in Atherton, California.

Education

I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Sophia College in Bombay, India.
